More on Otis, our sponsored trainee guide dog
You may remember that we are sponsoring a guide dog Otis, through his training with the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
George and Janice, his puppy-walkers, say Otis is now very confident on his lead and has learnt all his basic commands : ’sit’, ’stay’, ‘wait’ and ‘down’.

Otis can find the excitement of meeting new friends more interesting than listening to commands. Janice is working on his recall to make sure he learns to come back when called.
Otis is due to move on to training school soon, but Janice & George won’t have time to miss him. They’ve already got their next puppy, Morris. Otis and Morris get on famously, and Otis sets Morris a good example.
