Otis, our sponsored guide dog
You may remember that we are sponsoring a guide dog Otis, through his training with the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
Otis, a black Labrador, is now puppy-walking. He’s learning to walk properly on his lead and basic commands. He’s also visiting different environments with his puppy walker so that he learns to feel confident in all situations.
George and Janice, his puppy-walkers, say Otis is a fearless pup and always ready to learn new things. George takes Otis when he visits schools to talk about guide dogs. “All the children love to come up the front and stroke Otis. He is really good with them and always happy to have a tummy tickle.” says George.

Otis has been to football matches, car rallies and train stations and has coped well in all situations. “He’s such an adaptable dog and we are having great fun puppy walking him” says Janice.
